Presentation: Injectable solution in single-use vials for subcutaneous administration.
Dosage: 80mg/0.5mL, administered once weekly in a single dose, as prescribed by a physician.
Available strengths: 10mg/0.5mL, 15mg/0.5mL, 20mg/0.5mL, 30mg/0.5mL, 40mg/0.5mL, 60mg/0.5mL, 70mg/0.5mL, and 80mg/0.5mL.
Route of administration: Subcutaneous injection (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm).
Excipients: Sodium chloride (4.1mg), sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate (0.7mg), water for injection. Hydrochloric acid solution and/or sodium hydroxide solution may be added to adjust pH (6.5–7.5).
Therapeutic class: Dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist.
Expected benefits: Improved glycemic control, potential weight reduction, lowering of risks associated with type 2 diabetes.
Warnings: Prescription-only medicine. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage:
Refrigerate at 2 °C to 8 °C (36 °F to 46 °F) in original carton, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
GEN-TIRZ may be stored at room temperature (up to 30 °C / 86 °F) for a maximum of 21 days in the carton.
Discard if not used within 21 days after removal from the refrigerator.
